The
Jazz Monsters Swingin' Big Band
is a 20 piece professional
jazz band consisting of 5 saxes, 5 trombone, 5 trumpets,
piano, bass, drums, guitar and auxiliary percussion. We
are based in the Fort Worth/Dallas Metroplex and appear
at various venues throughout the area.
Our extensive musical library includes tunes from a wide
variety of famous and infamous composers and
arrangers. Among them are Glen Miller, Benny Goodman,
Count Basie, Stan Kenton, Buddy Rich, Tom Kubis the
Dorsey brother and many, many more too
numerous to mention.
The music of the big bands appeals to every generation
and everyone is invited to attend our events.
There is no cover charge, however, donations
are always welcomed to help us fund our
free performances at the local public schools.
The Jazz Monsters are
available for parties, dances,
community concerts and educational jazz clinics
and concerts.
